Pesaro still without Danilo Petrovic

Coming off two wins in the first three league games, VL Pesaro faces Saturday’s away game against Sebastiani Rieti, valid for the fourth round of the A2 Series, still without Danilo Petrovic, who is in the pits due to a compound fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his right foot suffered last Sept. 25.

Vuelle head coach Giacomo Baioni spoke about his condition during the presentation of the Rieti trip: "Obviously we are paying for the heavy absence of Petrovic – he said – who brings a lot of quality and intensity: he is working daily with the medical staff, è looking forward to getting back on the court, but it will take time to see him in action".

It's still therefore an unknown factor the return of the Virtus Bologna school basketball player, class 1999, but Baioni does not lose confidence in view of Saturday's game: "We challenge a team with a clear identityà and a recognized style, we will have to be good at playing our basketball and continue the process of growth at the defensive level, limiting the number of lost balls".

On the other hand, Matteo Imbrò, the red and white captain, should be in the game: "He is better – confirmed the coach of Pesaro, called to bring back to A the club relegated at the end of last season -, the medical staff has done an excellent job, he is an important player for our team".
