Milan looking for confirmation against Rome

Numia Numia Vero Volley Milano è ready to take the field again in the Tigotà A1 Series Championship. On Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8:30 p.m. (live coverage by Rai Sport and VBTV), the meneghine are in fact expected to make their season debut within the home walls of the’Allianz Cloud in Milan for the challenge with Smi Roma Volley in the second day of the Regular Season 2024-25. 

After the 3-1 away victory against Wash4green Pinerolo last Sunday, the Consortium’s first pink teamè finally ready to re-embrace its public.

This is only the fourth confrontation between the two teams, with the previous three matches all won by the Milanese. After Rome was promoted to Serie A1, the two teams in fact faced each other for the first time last season in the Championship and in the Quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa.

A tricky challenge for Vero Volley, which on the other side of the net finds the Romans, strong in European enthusiasm, fresh from their 3-0 victory against the Croatian Kelteks Karlovac in the first leg match of the 32nds of Challenge Cup 2024/2025, a competition for which Cuccarini’s girls detached the pass last September after their triumph in WEVZA Cup.
