Stefan de Vrij speaks out about the future

During an interview given to the microphones of "Sportmediaset", Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij, among the various topics discussed, spoke about his own future, as his contract with Inter Milan will expire on June 30.

"If it were up to me, I would still stay at Inter. But calmly. The priority now is to deal with this season as best I can, and then we will see,” said the former Lazio player.

"We have to think one game at a time, without looking too far ahead. I do not see a single rival for the Scudetto, because there are so many teams that have strengthened. We look at ourselves and think about winning all the games. The goal remains to win the championship and also in the Champions League we look step by step with the goal of getting as far ahead as possible" added the Dutch defender.

In addition to de Vrij, Inter will also have to resolve the situation related to the future of Francesco Acerbi, who also expires on June 30, 2025. For both, the Nerazzurri management has a unilateral one-year renewal option.

On the former Lazio, in conclusion, Feyenoord has reportedly come forward, which would be ready to acquire the player for free in the summer soccer market session.
