Another award for A.S. Roma Ciclismo. The Giallorossi club è was the most numerous to participate in "Pedala per un sorriso", giving themselves a wonderful day pedaling through the most beautiful streets of Rome and contributing to a just cause, because since always the event – also this time very well organized – è linked to solidarity initiatives è that è a pleasure to support.
The "competitive" part was not missed, with the "tireless Roberto Grassi completing the "Il Lombardia" granfondo, dedicated to Felice Gimondi, in 4 hours, 57 minutes and 13 seconds, on a very tough course.
As for cyclocross, Cesare Paladini participated in the Artena stage of the regional circuit, getting a good fourth place in the M4 category in a very well organized race, considering also that it was the recovery of a skipped stage.
This is Cesare Paladini's comment: "The race è was beautiful, it è was run on a nice course, the kind I like, where there's to push uphill and then let go downhill. It was run inside Villa Borghese in Artena, a very nice location, the compactness of the course was very good. One of the best trails I’ve ever had. One section had to be run on foot, a real wall, which broke your breath, but I like to deal with these situations. The feeling was good, I started a little slow, but slowly I made up positions. This year in our region the M4s start with Elite, M1, M2 and M3. They are about 10 minutes moreù of the race. But I had a good time".
