The reasoning goes, by necessity, in two directions at once.

Carlos Sainz is about to begin the last tranche of his career as a Ferrari driver, with every intention of extracting the maximum possible results from the Red car suit. But at the same time he is è aware that his future will be in Williams as early as next season, and so fatally his reasoning ahead of the U.S. Grand Prix goes towards the two teams: the one of today and the one of tomorrow.

"After Monza, we are more and more convinced that the updates on the Ferrari are working,” Sainz told the press present in Austin. “Here will be the most important test for us, to verify that everything is working at its best. Also because, compared to Monza, Baku and Singapore, this è the first conventional track where we will run with the novelties. We will then be able to understand what è their real effect on our performance".

Having completed his talk about Ferrari, Sainz then spoke about Williams: "I am happy to see how much they have improved recently. They are already going to points much more often now, and they actually told me they would grow and where the team aims to be in 2025. So far they have been true to their word, although in Formula 1 you never know. I'm looking forward to this new challenge next year".

Meanwhile, forò, Sainz pledged his utmost commitment to the good of Ferrari until the end of the season. "I have a job to complete this year, and with a car that has the potential to get me on the podium or even win a race. I want to make the most of this chance, and make my contribution to the team to fight in the constructors world championship. Where we can end 2024 in a very high position", pointed out the Spaniard.
