MotoGP, for the last races Andrea Iannone returns
Andrea Iannone will return to racing in MotoGP. In fact, he will replace; Fabio Di Giannantonio riding the Ducati VR46 at the Malaysian and Valencia Grand Prix, the last two rounds of the World Championship scheduled for November.
The 35-year-old Iannone will takeà the place of Giannantonio, who after the races in Australia and Thailand will returnà to Italy to undergo surgery on his left shoulder.
Iannone has not competed in the premier class of MotoGP since 2019 and will return to the scene precisely at Sepang, where he tested positive in a doping test that cost him a four-year disqualification.
In his career, Iannone has competed 247 races in MotoGP, winning 13 of them among all categories. È was three times third in the final Moto2 class standings, from 2010 to 2012.
For 2025, Iannone has already renewed his contract in Superbike with Team Go Eleven, which races Ducati motorcycles.
