GeVi Napoli: a star-studded reinforcement for Igor Milicic

GeVi Napoli: official the signing of Erick Green

A few days before the championship challenge against Olimpia Milano, GeVi Napoli places an important blow on the market. The Campania team, in fact, has announced the signing of American guard Erick Green until the end of the season.

Born in Inglewood, Calif. on May 9, 1991, Green played in Italy in Siena in the 2013/2014 season, and è it was his first season as a professional after playing four years with the Virginia Tech Hokies. The following year he made his first NBA experience in Denver, then played in 2016 with the Utah Jazz.

He returns to Europe and until 2019 plays in Greece, Spain, and Turkey with the jerseys of Olympiacos, Valencia, and Fenerbahce. He then moves to China, and in 2020 returns to Europe to play with Sevilla, and the Turkish Bahçeşehir.

His return to Italy is with Treviso in April 2022. In his second Italian adventure, he averaged 14 points per game with 2.7 assists and 2.0 rebounds. The last two seasons, however, he spent between Hapoel Holon and Buducnost Voli in 2022/23 and Unics Kazan in 2023/24 with numbers of 13.2 points per game in VTB League.
