Giovanni Galeone changes his mind about Massimiliano Allegri
Giovanni Galeone on Massimiliano Allegri: "Milan? No, better abroad"
A few weeks ago, talking about his pupil Massimiliano Allegri, Giovanni Galeone had described him as the indispensable cure for a club like Milan, which still cannot find the squaring of the circle with Paulo Fonseca on the bench. Today, the former coach of, among others, Pescara, Udinese and Perugia changes perspective and takes a step back.
"With Ibrahimovic – said bluntly Galeone himself, speaking to 'Kiss Kiss Napoli' – Allegri did not è left between kisses and hugs. Where would I see him best? All'abroad". For the Livorno coach's maestro, therefore, the advice aimed at the latter è to cross borders and try the experience in another major league.
Allegri, in the past, had been very close to leading a top European club: as stated a few months ago by Giovanni Branchini, the former Juventus coach's agent, Allegri had agreed with Real Madrid in 2021, but the lure of the Bianconeri club, fresh from experiences with Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo, had proved too strong.
Now forò there would be no particular obstacle should an offer arrive from a prestigious club, althoughé the doors of the most important European bigs seem more or less all closed. As always, however, every judgment depends on results and it is not certain that in the coming months some possibility may not pop up in this regard.
