MotoGP, Malaysia: Pecco Bagnaia has a problem with the five
The Italian driver set the best time in pre-qualifying
First in Free Practice and also in pre-qualifying. Pecco Bagnaia è presented himself in Sepang, the venue of the Malaysian GP, in great form (with Jorge Martin responding blow by blow, always finishing behind his rival for the World Championship). The willà è to recover as many points as possible to Jorge Martin, the World Championship leader with a 17-point lead right over the Italian rider.
To find the best possible set-up, the reigning World Champion worked hard on the bikes: "Lost time? No, in the end it was doing it to align the bikes. We did not lose time, indeed", explains Pecco Bagnaia himself to the microphones of Sky Sport.
Despite the excellent performance on the track, Pecco Bagnaia not è completely satisfied. In particular, there'è to solve a problem in a curve: "I lack a little bit of feeling in sector two and, in particular, at turn five. Otherwise, we are okay. We need to focus on these aspects to improve".
Impossible to get to have a Ducati that is perfect in all the key points of the circuit: "A balance of the bike on the whole track è difficult. We are trying to adapt it as much as possible and we have already done very well but here there are so many different situations; therefore, è it is complicated to have it balanced in every point", the comment of the reigning World Champion.
