Pecco Bagnaia è forced to surrender the title of MotoGP champion to Jorge Martin despite 11 victories in the World Championship, his personal record: the Piedmontese rider has joined other legends such as Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez, Giacomo Agostini and Mick Doohan, capable of winning at least 11 races in a season in the premier class, but it è not enough for the trio of titles.

After the race Bagnaia gave credit to Martin: "I don’t want to take it away from Jorge, he deserves what he has achieved. This è his day, I just want to thank my team who did an extraordinary job".

Bagnaia wanted to point out how some situations and circumstances have penalized him: a reference è undoubtedly to Alex Marquez, with whom he entrò in collision in Aragon. "Proverò to be more careful in certain situations and avoid being close to certain riders in others…", he told Sky.

"The biggest regret? It took me a few races to figure out how to use the forks and swingarm, but from thereì onward è it went well. We were knocked out three times and once we retired because of a technical problem. Perhaps the only real mistake è was at Silverstone, where I went too far".
