Roma, Claudio Ranieri explains Paulo Dybala's entrance in the finale
Thusì answering a specific question, Roma coach Claudio Ranieri explained his decision to bring in Dybala three minutes from the end of the match against Napoli.
"Paulo is recovering, and he è wanted to come here to help us and for that he should be thanked. I risked it becauseè there were only a few minutes left and I said: it either goes or it goes: he has a cylinder from which he can pull any play".
"I didn’t want to risk him but he didn’t feel anything since yesterday, and I told him to go in and be careful,” Ranieri continued. “I told him 'do what you can and don’t risk it beyond what’s legal'. Because I'd rather have a player a week later, but not have him hurt me.
“He assured me that he was fine. So at the last I tried to try something. Already today at the end of the game he did the training. He is fine, now we see in London for Tottenham".
