Bad news in the Lecce household. Antonino Gallo, in fact, forced to leave the field of play for a muscle problem in the challenge against Fiorentina, has è undergone instrumental examinations in the morning that showed a first degree injury to the femoral biceps of the right thigh.
This was announced è by the same Giallorossi club through an official statement: "The U.S. Lecce announces that the player Antonino Gallo è underwent magnetic resonance imaging, at the Studio Radiologico “Quarta Colosso“ in Lecce, which showed a first-degree injury to the femoral biceps of the right thigh".
The recovery time has not been disclosed by the Salento club, but since it is an injury, the Italian left-back will most likely miss the next two challenges with Roma and Monza. The hope for coach Giampaolo è to have him available again for the home match with Lazio, scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 'Via del Mare'.
So far Gallo has collected 13 appearances with the Giallorossi jersey in Serie A, providing two assists.
