Helmut Marko does not absolve né Max Verstappen né George Russell

During an intervention at the microphones of "Sky Sport Deutschland", Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko, among other topics, dwelt on the very harsh spat between Max Verstappen and George Russell, which broke out after the penalty received by the Dutchman during the previous GP in Qatar. In his analysis, the Austrian manager took a clear position on the issue.

"I am convinced that the matter has decisively gotten out of hand and overblown. These situations è always better to remain among the drivers, but above all they should stick exclusively to what è really happened" began the Austrian manager.

"These types of behavior have crystallized in recent years. At the slightest offense, someone immediately complains and asks the Team Principal to go to the stewards. This attitude is not è worthy of our sport" added Helmut Marko.

On the harsh confrontation between the Red Bull driver and the Mercedes driver, there was also no shortage of interventions from the two Team Principals Christian Horner and Toto Wolff: "Russell è was quite hysterical in Qatar and the penaltyè was based on that. It was a strange decision, because both of them were in their slow laps and I got the impression that George and Mercedes made a big deal out of it. Maybe he was the one who was driving recklessly. The penaltyè è was frustrating, but it also gave Max more motivation to win the race" this is the opinion of the Red Bull Team Principal.

"If this thing is about the drivers, I don’t want to get involved in this, forò if the other team principal gives hysterical to one of my drivers, for me you cross the line. His forte is certainly not è intellectual psychoanalysis, but thinking about it, I have wasted my time thinking about it and responding to that little terrier who always has something to say about anyone" this, instead, is Toto Wolff’s response.
