Second day of women’s FIS races on the Copper slope, where two super-giants are scheduled. The first è was won by the host Lauren Macuga, who preceded with a time of 1’11″90 Marta Bassino by only 3 hundredths, third position forthe French Romane Miradoli at 56 hundredths.
Off the podium was Swiss Malorie Blanc, fourth at 67 tied with Federica Brignone and teammate Delia Durrer. Eighth Roberta Melesi at 1″14, 15th Vicky Bernardi, 22nd Nadia Delago, 25th Sara Thaler. Also in attendance was Lindsey Vonn, twenty-fourth at 2″37.
In the second super-giant è it was again Macuga the fastest in 1’11″89, this time behind her was Federica Brignone with a delay of 21 hundredths, third was Swiss Malorie Blanc at 51 hundredths.
They were followed by Marta Bassino sixth at 91 hundredths, Roberta Melesi eighth at 1″03, Sara Thaler 11th at 1″5, Nadia Delago 17th at 1″75 and Vicky Bernardi 22nd at 2″48. Also competing was Lindsey Vonn, who placed nineteenth at 2″06.
