Record-breaking Trent, 119 points and 10th in a row won. Galbiati berates the defense
Trento record-breaking
Tenth consecutive victory for Dolomiti Energia Trentino, which won at Beta Ricambi Arena with an incredible 110-119 victory. A success that marks a new record for points scored for the bianconeri in a Serie A game, surpassing the 116 points scored on November 23, 2014 against Cremona, but on that occasion after no less than three overtimes.
Trento ès choral performance was outstanding, with five players in double figures and 24 assists distributed. Top scorer of the night è was Jordan Ford with 25 points. Not enough for Scafati were the performances of Steward, author of 34 points (with an incredible 12/14 shooting), and Gray, who finished with 28 points.
“È It was a game of very high tempo, where the attacks had the better of the game. Scafati è a team with lots of talent, and Steward è a really strong player, capable of alternating excellent performances like today’s with less convincing contests. We could have done much better defensively, especially in the first half, but è a complicated period because of absences and some aches” said Paolo Galbiati.
“On offense we were very disciplined, and although the percentages had not assisted us lately, tonight they were on our side. We definitely need to work to improve a lot on defense, but we are still happy to have brought home this win” added the HCL coach.
