Club World Cup, Trent starts well
Victorious debut for Itas Trentino in the Club World Cup that began today on the parquet of the Sabiazinho Arena in Uberlandia, Brazil.
Michieletto and teammates beat the Iranians of Shahdab Yazd 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-21).
Top scorers for the team from Via del Brennero were Lavia with 12 points and Michieletto with 10. Tomorrow Trentino will be back on the court to face the Argentines from Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Itas Trentino è at its 11th participation in the rainbow tournament and has already won five world club titles: poker in a row from 2009 to 2012 and then in 2018.
