Patrick Dorgu-Napoli: Saverio Sticchi Damiani dots the i’s.
Saverio Sticchi Damiani expounds on Patrick Dorgu’s future
Speaking at the microphones of 'Radio Kiss Kiss', during the broadcast 'Radio Goal', Lecce president Saverio Sticchi Damiani responded to market rumors concerning Patrick Dorgu, on whom there would be for several weeks now the interest of Napoli, in the continuous search for reinforcements to give Antonio Conte the widest possible range of choices.
For Sticchi Damiani, however, there's no intention of letting the Danish joker go, least of all in January. "We share the market with Pantaleo Corvino,” he said, “The boy is liked and not only in Italy. With respect to what is said about Napoli I say that there's nothing concrete but a general attention, not è strategy but the truth. We do not want to deprive ourselves of it".
A more elaborate reasoning on Dorgu’s future in the next summer market, when the season is over, is more likely: "Napoli has shown an interest – confirmed the number one of the Giallorossi management -, I have some elements that make me think about this, also the chat between Conte and Dorgu at the end of the match".
In the meantime, forò, Lecce wants to think about the championship: "Against Monza we brought home a great victory, then it was a direct clash, we succeeded despite the difficulties that the match brought us. The third year in Serie A è always difficult, in its history Lecce in its third year has never è managed to save itself, to line up three years in Serie A would be fantastic" said Sticchi Damiani.
