Jaka Bijol shuts down market rumors and reveals his dream in the drawer
Slovene defender in the round between market and future
During a speech to the well-known podcast "The Italian Football", Udinese defender Jaka Bijol, among other topics, bluntly spoke about market rumors related to a possible interest from Inter and Napoli in him. In addition, the Slovenian central wanted to reveal what è his dream in the drawer.
"Being approached by teams like Inter è certainly a pleasant thing to hear, but in soccer we know that there are so many rumors, so until there's something concrete there isn't much to say" began the Slovenian central.
"At the moment I am focused on doing well with Udinese, then definitely the ambition è to play in the Champions League and the Premier League. These are two goals that I hope to achieve in the course of my career" continued the 1999-born defender.
"I think Inter are still the strongest team. Against Lazio they showed again that they are ready in the important moments. I hope it is an Italian team that has triumphed this year in the Champions League. If I have to choose one, I would bet on the Nerazzurri of Simone Inzaghi" added the Vuzenica native.
"Lucca definitely has the potential to become one of the best strikers in Serie A. He also has the personality to succeed. He likes to work, the pressure that the soccer world puts on strikers. You always have to aim to score goals, and I think he can handle that the best. The coach, right from the start, has shown very good communication qualities, because he likes to listen to the players and talk to them constantly to help them improve. It's too early to talk about goals. We have to just take the field and give our best, every point è important in Serie A" concluded Jaka Bijol.
