Roma overwhelms Parma: a superb Dybala triggers the goleada
Clear and convincing victory for Roma at the Stadio Olimpico against Parma in the 12:30 match of the 17th day of Serie A: Claudio Ranieri’s team overwhelmed the Crusaders 5-0 thanks to Dybala’s double and goals from Saelemaekers, Paredes and Dovbyk. A breath of fresh air for the Giallorossi, who return to success after the heavy knockout against Como and climb to 10th place with 19 points. Badly for Parma, which has to suffer its third consecutive defeat and remains stuck on 15 points, a length away from the relegation zone.
One-sided match, approached very well by Claudio Ranieri’s team that at 9' è already took the lead thanks to Dybala on a penalty kick awarded for a foul by Balogh on the Joya. Just four minutes passed and the hosts doubled with Saelemaekers: a right-footed volley on Angelino's cross, at the end of another action inspired by Dybala.
Roma kept the pace low after the double advantage and always kept the reins of the game, touching the third goal with El Shaarawy. The music did not change in the second half, the Capitolini finding the third goal with Dybala in tap in after a fortuitous touch by Dovbyk on Saelemaekers cross.
Parma's only blare è a cross by Camara at 66' then Roma closed the score with another penalty, this time generously left by Dybala to Paredes for 4-0. Parma è nonexistent and Ranieri’s team insistently sought the fifth goal, which arrived at the 83'83': Dovbyk after two big untapped chances finally managed to score, on an assist from a superb Dybala.
