During a live broadcast on his Twitch channel Adil Rami responded to Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star a few days ago had said: "The Saudi Pro League è better than Ligue 1. Try sprinting in 38, 39 or 40 degrees and then you will see. In France there is only PSG. Then there'è the void".
"He said nonsense – Rami’s words -. Do you want me to show you pictures of the defenders of Saudi Arabia? He had a crazy career but he doesn't always tell the truth. I think it is a communication gimmick".
"Try playing against Monaco, Lille or Marseille. Go with your team to play against Brest. With Brazil, France è the greatest nursery in the world. Cristiano, you know, I am a fan of yours but you made a mistake. When you say that the Saudi league è is better than the French one, you convince a lot of people but that's not how it is,” the former defender commented.
Adil Rami ended his career in September 2023 after ending his experience at Troyes. He wore the Milan jersey on two occasions: in 2014 and 2015.
