Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic explains Paulo Fonseca's exoneration

On the sidelines of the press conference to introduce the new Milan coach Sergio Conceicao, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wanted to shed light on the reasons that led to Paulo Fonseca's exoneration.

"Before I start with Conceicao, I want to thank Fonseca for what he did, for the professional he è. Maximum respect for him. We è failed to have continuityà of results and when you are at Milan, results are fundamental" began the former Swedish striker.

"We decided to exonerate him after the game, we were wrong to send him to the press conference. I apologize to Paulo and the fans. We understand their frustration, we have the utmost respect, we are the first ones who are not satisfied with the results and we will not be until we achieve our goals and the Super Cup è one of them" added the Rossoneri manager.

"The responsibility è not only of the coach, we all have to take it. A club like Milan è always prepared for the next step. Everyone knows who è Conceicao: he has character, è a winner, è already entered the season and had great results at Porto. He has clear ideas in his head, as soon as he è arrived he made the team work right away. Our task now è to provide him with everything we can" concluded Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
