The 2025 MotoGp World Championship will inevitably be marked by the duel in the factory Ducati team between Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia. The two-time world champion lost the title last season and now finds himself in the team the very strong Catalan centaur, in the hunt for the iris after a five-year fast.
Former world champion Wayne Gardner at Motosan, however, pointed to Pecco Bagnaia as the number one favorite for victory: "I think Pecco will win the championship because he's disappointed and angry with himself for the mistakes he made in 2024. Gardner was not è surprised by Ducati’s decision to hire Marc instead of Jorge Martin: "In my opinion Ducati decided to take Marquez away from the competition. He still falls sometimes, but he has more consistency now, also because heé riding a better bike. Better not to risk having Marc on a rival team".
