Aston Martin, Andy Cowell new team principal
Through an official note, Aston Martin announced a restructuring of its management organization chart. In particular, Andy Cowell, already CEO of the British racing stable, is also taking over the role of team principal with immediate effect, thus succeeding Mike Krack.
The latter will lead the team on the track in the role of Chief Trackside Officer. Mike, who joined the team in 2022 as team principal, will continue to focus on getting maximum performance from the car during race weekends.
"I have spent the last three months evaluating the team’s performance, and I am absolutely amazed by the dedication and hard work that the entire team has put in,” Cowell said. With the completion of the AMR technology campus and the transition in 2026 to a full team working together with our strategic partners Honda and Aramco, we are poised to become a world title team".
"These organizational changes are a natural outgrowth of the multi-year plans we have laid out, and I am incredibly excited about whatò awaits us in the future" concluded the new team principal of the Silverstone-based team.
