Sunday there'è Olimpia Milan-Reggio Emilia

After the beautiful external success in the Champions League against Bonn (94-91 the final result), Unahotels Reggio Emilia returns to the championship with the goal of toppling EA7 Olimpia Milano at the Forum and thus close the negative series within the national borders, after the losses against Trapani (109-73) and Virtus Bologna (69-57).

Dimitris Priftis spoke on the eve of the game that will be played on Sunday at 5 p.m., explaining that he knows what to expect from the day's opponent: "A really difficult challenge awaits us,” he said. “In addition to its value, which certainly needs no introduction, Olimpia is also experiencing the best moment of their season".

"They are a team that has a very high level of roster depth, but above all I think they are one of the best teams in Europe in the ability to read situations, punish defense mistakes, catch every little communication problem of the opponents and exploit it in their own favor" added the Greek coach.

"We therefore expect an extremely demanding match for our players, who will have to express themselves at their best to compete" Priftis then concluded. The last precedent between the two teams dates back to the 25th day of the 2023/2024 championship: on March 30, Olimpia won in Reggio by 4 points (72-68), dragged by Tonut’s 19 points and Mirotic’s 18.
