Lots of regrets for Sofia Goggia in the Kronplatz giant slalom. The skier from Bergamo, in fact, è was eliminated in the first run due to a fall after about fifteen seconds because of a’slant in a curve to the right that led her to leave the track without physical consequences. 

"I made a chicken mistake,” she admitted to RAI microphones. “I went into that bump a little bit straight and slid off. I’m sorry becauseé today I was fine, I was serene, calm and charged: I threw away a beautiful opportunity.

"I don’t è that I slide like thatì often, in the last giant practice I never went out like that;: I didn’t give enough direction on the bump, when I put of edge I saw that I had to give it more; and I put already; the shoe" commented the blue.

Goggia will return to competition in Garmisch, Germany, where a downhill race, Saturday, Jan. 25, and a Super G, Sunday, Jan. 26, are scheduled.
