Five games were played on NBA night. The Los Angeles Lakers return to winning ways thanks to a spacey LeBron James, author of a triple-double, his ninth of the season, of 21 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in the home win with the Washington Wizards (111-88).

Three-time MVP Nikola Jokic also shines. At the Ball Arena in Denver, in fact, the Serbian star signed his 19th triple-double this season (27 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists) dragging the Denver Nuggets to success against the Philadelphia 76ers (144-109), deprived of Joel Embiid.

It goes to the New York Knicks the derby against the Brooklyn Nets: at Barclays Center it ends 99-95 for Thibodeau’s men. È Jalen Brunson (17 points, 4 assists) gave the victory to the guests thanks to three decisive baskets in the finale, although the top scorer for the Knicks è Karl-Anthony Towns, who closes with 25 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists.

Finally, the Miami Heat collapsed at home against the Portland Trail Blazers, who prevailed 116-107 with Anfernee Simons and DeAndre Ayton on the shields: 24 points for the former, 22 points and 15 rebounds for the latter. The Toronto Raptors have an easy time with the Orlando Magic (109-93) who were not satisfied with a double-double by Paolo Banchero (26 points and 12 rebounds).
