NBA, James Harden loses in debut with LA Clippers

After a long tug of war, Harden finally got a chance to play his first game in the jersey of the LA Clippers, his new team. It was a debut spoiled by the New York Knicks who won with a final score of 111-97.

However, LA Clippers fans got a first taste of what Leonard, George, Westbrook and, indeed, Harden, the newest addition, are capable of all together. The former Philadelphia man, with no preparation behind him, still finished with 17 points in 31 minutes of use.

"Possibilitiesà unlimited", said Harden himself in the post match. "I didn’t participate in pre-season contests and do a real training camp. I simply went on the court and played. I just thought about playing and trying to do the simplest things", his further words reported by ESPN. The next challenge will be against the Nets. Harden needs to play to find the perfect form and understanding with his teammates.
