Marc Marquez: "We still don’t have clear ideas"
First crash of the year for Marc Marquez during the second day of testing in Malaysia: the Catalan centaur, who completed 45 laps, is trying to understand the Ducati 25. "It's been one of those difficult days for the rider because thereé was a list of things to do, while in Day-1 the engineers leave you a little bit free. The number one priority è understanding the engine and aerodynamics well, since they have to be homologated before the first race".
At the moment the choice has not è been made yet: "We don’t have a clear idea. We still have to make verifications and be very sure. The 2024 package è competitive, so we have to be sure that 2025 is much better, since the engine will be homologated for two years and there are no wild cards, unlike’aerodynamics".
On the crash: "In Turn 9 I braked and lost the bike in the’last part of the braking. But I didn’t get hurt because’you go slow in that spot. It was my first time on new tires and I gave it a try".
With Bagnaia similar comments: "We are very aligned in the comments, they are very similar. We seem to take turns riding the bike".
