Binaghi’s words

First reactions to the sentencing of Jannik Sinner, who accepted a three-month suspension in the Clostebol case. The comment of Italian Tennis and Padel Federation President Angelo Binaghi was not long in coming.

"It’ the first time that a shameful injustice makes us happy becauseé the first thought è for the boy who sees an end to a nightmare. This agreement between the two parties certifies Jannik's innocence, his absolute non-guilt, and finally allows him to calm down and plan his future with a grand comeback at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome where all of Italy will welcome him’’ as he deserves".

"Regret remains for all that he had to go through and all the time Jannik had to spend with this boulder. If nothing else, this will be perhaps the last big mistake of the Wada, which, as we know, has already decided to change the rules that forced Jannik to accept a compromise that even if it does not recognize any responsibility on his part; è è truly unfair".
