Dorothea Wierer, new World Cup waiver

Forfait by Dorothea Wierer
Dorothea Wierer will not be at the start of Tuesday’s women’s individual race Feb. 18 in Lenzerheide (Svi) that is valid for the World Championships. The South Tyrolean financier, who also forfeited Sunday’s pursuit, will try to recover ahead of the remaining races in the rainbow program. At the start of the competition (3:05 p.m., live on RaiSport and Eurosport TV) there will be soì Michela Carrara, Hanna Auchentaller, Samuela Comola and Martina Trabucchi. Here are their eve impressions.
Michela Carrara: “I am very happy with the two competitions held so far. The ’individual is not really my favorite format, every mistake è very costly in terms of time, here forò two years ago I did a good race at the European Championships. I hope to have as good materials as I have had in the past few days, then we will see what comes up”.
Hannah Auchentaller: “I found again in Sunday’s pursuit positive situations, I am quite optimistic. I’m in my fourth race, I honestly didn’t remember such a difficult polygon. Maybe è the tension of the World Cup that creates a few more mistakes. The’individual è a race that is done mostly at the range, we will try to do our best”.
Samuela Comola: “It’s my time, I can’t wait to get going. So far I have seen more errors than usual, the women shoot well but here I noticed that the wind turns from right to left, and actually it wasn’t so easy. In the past few days I did a race simulation, it è was very useful and I vauto; experience the range in race conditions. It will beà a long 15 km, we will have to dose the energy”.
Martina Trabucchi: “It’ the first World Championships, the round of the race è hard and also the range is not è easy, I made a lot of mistakes, especially on the ground, I will tryò to redeem myself in the shooting. I showed up in Lenzerheide without a lot of expectations, I am here to gain experience, I try to learn in any aspect on a track where it è nice to compete”.
