A small, big feat after six very hard months.

An unforgettable debut on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati for Fabio Di Giannantonio, able to finish in the final Top 10 after a heroic performance at the Buriram Thai Grand Prix raced after months of inactivity and a physical form still far from perfect.

Di Giannantonio finished the opening race of the season in 10th position, an incredible result on his first weekend with the new bike, after the operation and without having done testing. Despite not being 100 percent with his shoulder, the Roman centaur struggled in a very physically demanding race by giving his all and taking a very promising Top10 in Buriram.

"I’m very happy and proud of the team, the bike and me,” Di Giannantonio said at the end of the day. “I think we did something really great, because it’s been six months since I’ve trained perfectly. I came here with zero testing, a new bike and a sore shoulder. The potential was a little bit higher, but from mid-race on I was physically exhausted".

Di Giannantonio added some details about his Sunday in Buriram: "I was riding compensating so much with the rest of the body, we did a great job. Now I go home and focus on recovery, then we will train. I am working so hard because the é goal è great. The potential of the bike è huge and, if I am 100 percent, I can be in front".
