Franco Morbidelli is not satisfied: “Let’s wait for the next ones.”
A great achievement, which must però represent only a starting point.
The first race of the 2025 season ends with great satisfaction for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, which in the Grand Prix of Thailand shows great potential. Franco Morbidelli è author of a great comeback and comes close to podium with a fourth position, while Fabio Di Giannantonio proves to be a great fighter and conquers the Top10 despite not being in 100% physical shape.
Morbidelli, sixth in qualifying, started from ninth on the grid due to a 3-position grid penalty received on Friday, but a good start allowed him to be immediately in the fight with the leading group. The Roman è was very close to the podium showing a good pace and ended the first race with the team in Buriram in fourth position.
"I am very happy with this race in Buriram, my first with the team. We had two solid races and the team did a great job. They convinced me to use the soft front and è it was the right choice. I couldn’t be happier with how è this first weekend in general" went, said Morbidelli at the end of the day.
The outlook is good, and Morbidelli does not hide the firm willè to raise the bar: "The start we have had è been promising, we are looking forward to the next races, where we will give it our all. We are strong, let's see what we can do".
