Benfica-Barcelona, the probable formations

Benfica and Barcelona meet again in the round of 16 of the Champions League, after the Blaugrana’s previous 5-4 pyrotechnics in Lisbon at the championship stage. The Portuguese, coached by Bruno Lage, reached the round of 16 after eliminating Monaco in the playoffs. The Spaniards, on the other hand, detached their pass to the round of 16 with second place in the group, behind Liverpool, getting 19 points.

Benfica took the field with 3-4-2-1: Carreras, Silva and Otamendi in defense in front of Soares, with Araujo, Kokcu, Aursnes and Dahl in midfield. Akturkoglu and Bruma will support Pavlidis, who has already scored seven goals in this Champions League.

Barcelona responds with 4-2-3-1: Szczesny in goal, Kounde, Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez and Balde in defense. Pedri and De Jong in the midfield, with Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Raphinha in the three-quarter, behind Lewandowski.
