Tirreno-Adriatico, entrants

Seven stages, 1,147 km and 14,400 meters of elevation gain. These are the key numbers of the Tirreno Adriatico Crédit Agricole, which kicks off Monday, March 10, from Lido di Camaiore to end on March 16, as per tradition, in San Benedetto del Tronto.

The 60th edition of the Corsa dei Due Mari will see big names from the international cycling scene at the start, starting with former world champion, and winner of three fractions, Mathieu Van der Poel, on the last step ahead of the Milano-Sanremo.

The list of top stage hunters includes Filippo Ganna, (3 wins), Jonathan Milan (2 wins), Biniam Girmay, Thomas Pidcock, Olav Kooij, Dylan Groenewegen and Paul Magnier. There was also great uncertainty in the fight for the Maglia Azzurra. Among those who have taken home the Trident of Neptune are Nairo Quintana (2015, 2017), Michal Kwiatkowski (2018) and Simon Yates (2020), although the oddsmakers see Juan Ayuso and Jai Hindley, who finished second and third, respectively, in pole position in 2024. Also among the entrants are Adam Yates, Richard Carapaz, Mikel Landa, David Gaudu, Antonio Tiberi, Giulio Ciccone, and Derek Gee.
