Nicolò Zaniolo explains farewell to Atalanta'Atalanta

Nicolò Zaniolo gave a long interview to the microphones of Dazn in which he explained the reason for his return to Fiorentina, as well as the decision to leave Atalanta in January after only 6 months since his arrival in Bergamo.

"In the last few years I have been around several teams, I have also been abroad,” he began. “I am very happy to be here because I am returning to where I grew up. It was like coming home because I saw people who made me grow. I was impressed by everything I found in it”.

On the farewell to Atalanta: "A player wants to play being 100 percent within a project, that is why I preferred to change to put myself back in the game. I can do different roles, I was born as a midfielder and then I was moved to outside right which è my main role”.

"I am getting on very well with Palladino who è a very good coach and a very good person, Fiorentina is having a great championship – continued the former Roma man . This è a group that has great qualities ".

"My personal goal? It's to help the team, to help Fiorentina achieve something important, maybe raising a trophy like the Conference. When you win it it brings a lot of prestige and enthusiasm. The purple club è came close to winning it in the last two years hopefully this will be the right time" concluded Zaniolo.
