England-Italy 47-24

There comes another defeat for Italy at the 2025 Six Nations. Two weeks after the heavy defeat to France at the Olympic Stadium (24-73), the Azzurri also went down against England at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham. 47-24 was the final score by which the hosts imposed themselves on the fourth day of the Six Nations.

Quesada’s men played a great first half, but had to surrender in the second half to a furious England side that won 47-24 and strung together their third consecutive success in the competition. The Azzurri responded blow for blow in the first 40 minutes with Capuozzo and Vintcent, with the Azzurri fullback the absolute protagonist.

The English, however, close the first half leading 21-17 and then score 3 goals at the beginning of the second half with which they mortgage the match. The Azzurri shortened with Menoncello’s goal but were punished in the final by Ben Earl for the final 47-24.

Italy, which remains fifth in the standings with 4 points, will challenge Ireland on the final day of the Six Nations, while England will face Wales.
