F1, Red Bull trouble: ‘McLaren gives us 1 second a lap’

F1, trouble at Red Bull: "McLaren gives us " 1 second a lap"
Balanced Formula 1? Not for Red Bull executive Helmut Marko, at least for the first races of the World Championship. At the microphones of Servus TV Marko with his usual candor made a prediction ahead of the first race in Australia: "McLaren in testing was clearly superior".
"He didn’t show it clearly, because he’d set the best time in the first sector, in the second sector and then went back to the pits: he tried to hide during the tests".
"He was between half a second and a second a lap faster, and to think that he was not even in the lead as top speed…. This very thing suggests that he did not run with a pushed mapping".
"If this è what will be thereà in Australia, è clearly they will do a one-two", are Marko’s statements. Whether it is pretactic or a way to put pressure on rivals, we will find out in a few days in Melbourne.
