1987 class, won two Euroleagues with Real Madrid

After seven seasons and many triumphs (including two Euroleagues) with the Real Madrid jersey, Causeur has decided to get back into the game in Milan. Born in 1987, the Frenchman è a reference point inside the biancorosso locker room. His experience è important, especially for the many youngsters playing at Olimpia.

A guest of Skweek, a French media outlet, Causeur explained how he è ended up playing for Olimpia Milano: "My agent met Ettore Messina at the Summer League in Las Vegas and told him about me. He è was convinced very quickly and from there everything è went fast. È it was a coincidence, but maybe it was destiny. In the end, I chose Milan".

The start of the season has not è been the best for Olimpia. Causeur has his personal view: "We had a very complicated start to the season. If I am not mistaken, we were 1-5 after six games (in EuroLeague, ed.). We were in the abyss, there was only talk of video analysis after video analysis. Then è came the signing of Nico Mannion in November and it gave us great balance".

The Frenchman added: "Before him we had two very young point guards, Dimitrijevic and Bolmaro, with no EuroLeague experience. Nico’s arrival gave us a qualitative leap. Then Mirotic and LeDay raised their level and the team started to win".
