For the second time in a row, the Numia Vero Volley Milano advances to the Final Four of Cev Champions League. With a great show of strength, Paola Egonu and her teammates, did not give Eczacibasi a chance even in the return leg of the quarterfinals, repeating the result of the first leg match at Allianz Cloud, handing a clear 3-0 (24-26; 24-26; 21-25) to the Turks.

The Milanese team thus joins in the final act of the top continental club competition the VakifBank Istanbul – already faced in the group stage – and the two Italian teams: the Savino Del Bene Scandicci and the A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano, with the latter facing Lavarini s own girls in the semifinals.

Against Eczacibasi, Milano è took the court right from the start with grit and determination, elements that allowed them to win the first two partials – both ended in advantages – and close the qualification file in one hour of play. In the third set, coach Lavarini’s lineup, after the break of the hosts, thanks to three consecutive aces by Kurtagic took the lead and closed the challenge with Myriam Sylla, MVP of the match with 15 points.

Great performance also for captain Alessia Orro, scoring 7 points. For Numia Vero Volleyball, there s not much time to celebrate: immediately after returning from Turkey, Milan will leave for Pesaro to face Sunday, March 16 at 16:30 the Megabox Ond. Del Savio Vallefoglia in game 2 of the Playoff scudetto quarterfinals.
