Fiorentina-Juventus, mayor Sara Funaro’s announcement removes all doubt

Fiorentina-Juventus will be played regularly
After the doubts of the past few hours, given the ongoing bad weather emergency in Tuscany, there seems to be no more obstacles to the regular match between Fiorentina and Juventus, scheduled to be played at the stadium 'Artemio Franchi' in Florence on Sunday, March 16 at 6 p.m. It was the mayor of the Tuscan capital, Sara Funaro, herself, who announced that it will be played.
"There are no obstructive reasons for holding the match,” the first citizen of Florence told a press conference. The match will be able to be played given the change of the weather alert, for the city of Florence, from red to orange from 2 p.m. today until midnight, and from orange to yellow from midnight today until tomorrow".
The gradual shift of the alert, which will turn from red to yellow on Sunday, had also convinced local authorities in nearby Pisa to reschedule for Sunday 16 the Serie B match between the Nerazzurri and Mantova, a game that was initially scheduled to be played on Saturday.
Local authorities in the areas affected by the bad weather have been working in synergy with sports authorities over the past few days to find the best solutions so that the organization of sports competitions would not weigh on the ongoing emergency, given the problems caused by the bad weather in Central Italy and particularly in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
