Upset start for Ferrari: Lewis Hamilton dwells on the positives

The words of Lewis Hamilton
The adventure of Lewis Hamilton, who in his first qualifying session as a Ferrari driver did not go beyond eighth position behind teammate Charles Leclerc and more than eight tenths behind pole-man Lando Norris, begins decidedly uphill. Speaking at the microphones of "Sky Sport F1", in analyzing his performance the seven-time world champion preferred to dwell on the positive aspects.
"I am satisfied with the progress we made over the weekend, because day by day we optimized the car and brought it to a better position. I struggled in several areas, becauseé the car behaves differently than the Mercedes I have driven for so many years, so it took me a long time to get used to it and begin to have confidence in the car" began the British Ferrari driver.
"I think I got quite close to Charles at the end and that è a positive aspect. We are a little bit moreù far from our expectations and we have to understand whyé" added the seven-time world champion.
"We had some difficulties in Q3. I had used tires on the first lap, but they were pretty good until the last corner. Even with the new tires I was doing well, but at some point è the wind direction and temperature changed, so the balance è totally changed, like from day to night. That surprised us a little bit, but I think it was like that for everybody. We are confident, becauseé we still have a lot of room for growth" concluded Lewis Hamilton.
