Lorenzo Musetti, candid admission about Novak Djokovic

Lorenzo Musetti scraped together only four games against Novak Djokovic in the match qualifying for the round of 16 at the Miami Masters 1000. The Serbian champion, in fact, won with a clear 6-2 6-2, centering the quarterfinals of the Miami Open.
Intervened at Sky Sports microphones, the Carrara player did not recriminate about the defeat: “I think Nole, considering the nine matches in which I have faced him, has grown again. It’s hard to imagine or believe, but on the court that”s the feeling I had.
“Apart from the’beginning where I was able to get into better gear, then I wasn’t able to hurt him from the backcourt anymore and I didn–t have the support on serve – continued the blue -. He was always responding, he served with a very good percentage of firsts. At one point he was really unplayable. So much credit to him, I have to say that with me he often exalts himself”.
“Now the clay court season starts and that will be the one to focus on from the next few days. Definitely the date as a starting point on red is the Monte-Carlo Master 1000” concluded Musetti.
