Ducati, Marc Marquez doesn’t let his guard down in 'his' Austin

Marc Marquez spoke at a press conference in Austin, where the Grand Prix of the Americas will be staged this weekend. “We started in the best possible way – he began -I feel comfortable in all sessions and every race that passes the bond with the team is better. But we have to stay focused: in my best season, 2019, the’only mistake l’ve made right here”.

The Ducati centaur goes hunting for his eighth MotoGP success at the Texas circuit: “Expectations are high and the results have certainly not diminished those expectations. Better that way than having doubts. I always try to think negatively, though, so as not to have that overconfidence that leads us to situations we don”t like.

“The comparison with Lewis Hamilton? The thing in common is that we have moved house, it is a pleasure if I am compared to him. He is not only a great driver but a superstar. We have different styles, but when they compare you to a great athlete it is always nice”.

“Will Jorge Martin be at the circuit? It’s good, we need the world champion. That suggests he will be there in Qatar, it is a good way to start adapting to the team, which is new to him” concluded Marquez.
