Marc Marquez doesn’t discount: it is also his in the Sprint in Texas. Pecco Bagnaia on the podium

MotoGp continues to have one man in command: it’s Marc Marquez, who after dominating the first two weekends of the season continues to lay down the law in Texas as well, winning just a few hours after the pole position also the Sprint Race and still remaining full points in the standings. Second place for his brother Alex, third a good Pecco Bagnaia.
The 2022 and 2023 MotoGp champion got off to a great start and even found himself in the lead, except to give up the position, after a splendid battle, following a mistake from which he recovered in spectacular fashion, avoiding what seemed a more than likely fall. Having found the decisive overtaking move, the number 93 of the official Ducati team flew to the finish line without further jolts, managing the advantage over the Team Gresini centaur, for a familiar one-two that now seems to be the leitmotif of this early season.
Shouldering behind Bagnaia are the two Team VR46 riders, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli, authors of a more than positive test. Also doing well was Fabio Quartararo, sixth and first of the non-riders, riding a Yamaha: the Frenchman was ahead of Pedro Acosta (KTM), the rediscovered Luca Marini, for the first time in points in a Sprint since he has been at Honda, the Japanese Ai Ogura (Trackhouse) and Marco Bezzecchi on the official Aprilia.
There are therefore 86 points for Marc Marquez, who dominates the overall standings ahead of his brother Alex, who has 67, and Bagnaia, who instead has collected 50 so far.
Morbidelli is fourth at 42, ahead of teammate Di Giannantonio, who instead has collected 28.
In the top 10 there is also another Italian, Marco Bezzecchi, tenth with 14 points.
