Despite being forced to go through Q1 on Saturday, having failed to make it into the top ten, Fabio Di Giannantonio does not want to lose his optimism and, indeed, renews his challenge ahead of Saturday&#8217s challenging day at MotorLand Aragon and the following Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday.

“It was a shame to stay out of Q2, it was not wanted – said the rider of the Ducati Desmosedici GP-25 entrusted to the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team -. We slowed down the work plan a bit in the afternoon because of a hiccup we had. The good thing is that we have a lot of room for improvement because we know what to change for tomorrow”.

“We have a huge potential to get into Q2 – added Di Giannantonio, who is looking for his fourth consecutive weekend in points in Aragon, both on Saturday and in the long race on Sunday -, I am riding well and I know what to do to go stronger. The track conditions were peculiar, there was no grip, especially in afternoon practice”.

In the previous race weekend, Fabio Di Giannantonio finished third in the Sprint race, suffering instead in the Sunday race that saw him finish in ninth. In the overall standings, after seven rounds, he is in sixth place with 88 points, behind Marc and Alex Marquez (196 and 172 points), Pecco Bagnaia (124), Franco Morbidelli (98) and Johann Zarco (97).
