Marc Marquez set the pace again in the warm-up for the German Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. The Spanish Ducati Factory rider finished first in a ten-minute session held under ideal conditions—clear skies, 21 degrees in the air, and 30 degrees on the track—which was crucial for determining tire choices ahead of the race. Most riders focused their efforts on the hard-front, medium-rear tire combination, while Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jack Miller, Joan Mir, and Franco Morbidelli tested the soft-front, medium-rear setup.

Marquez clocked a time of 1:20.119, edging out Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Pertamina VR46), who also suffered a crash at Turn 8—very similar to the one that had involved Marco Bezzecchi yesterday. Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) set the third-fastest time, 392 thousandths behind, followed by Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha Factory) at 769 and Jack Miller (Yamaha Prima Pramac) at 783.

Raul Fernandez (Aprilia Trackhouse) took sixth place, 865 thousandths behind the leader, ahead of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Factory), who was seventh, 913 thousandths back. Rounding out the top ten were Luca Marini (Honda HRC), eighth at 1.097, Diogo Moreira (LCR Honda), ninth at 1.110, and Ai Ogura (Aprilia Trackhouse), tenth at 1.139. Further back, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM) was thirteenth, 1.218 behind, followed by Jorge Martin (Aprilia) at 1.247. Bringing up the rear are Enea Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3), seventeenth at 1.491, and Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Pertamina VR46), eighteenth at 1.682.
