Virtus Bologna, official renewal of Dusko Ivanovic

Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Dusko Ivanovic for a contract extension until June 30, 2026.

Who arrived on the HCL bench on Dec. 5, 2024, Coach Ivanovic will lead Virtus Segafredo Bologna again next season.

The words of Virtus Segafredo Bologna President Massimo Zanetti: “I am delighted with the job he has done so far, he is a man of great experience, even in the Euroleague. He also knows how to deal with great players: the coach is the most important person, he must have the locker room in his hands.”

The comment of General Manager Paolo Ronci: “This confirmation is an important element, especially for this final season. Having, with a view to next year, this legitimized leadership I think is very good news that can make us work in the best perspective. I am happy with the feeling that exists between our President and the coach: this is an aspect that will allow us to work in the best possible way, with stability, legitimacy and technical power exclusively in the hands of the coach, while respecting the set budget.”
