Jorge Martin injury, comes special message from Jorge Lorenzo

Still in the hospital for the consequences of the accident that occurred during the Qatar Grand Prix, Jorge Martin has received a veritable wave of messages of support via social media, as much from his current colleagues as from old MotoGp glories. Prominent among the latter is the wish for a speedy recovery from Jorge Lorenzo, who in his career has himself faced difficult times from the point of view of injuries.

“I wish you much strength, champion– wrote the five-time rainbow winner on Instagram, commenting on the post in which Martin updated his fans on his own condition, after the bang on Sunday that had frightened fans and insiders -. In his own career, even Jorge Lorenzo has been faced with injuries that have prevented him from racing for multiple races: in 2008 he skipped the Catalonia GP due to an injury suffered in the previous race at Mugello, in 2011 he gave up the last three races of the season after a crash in Australia, and in 2018 there were four consecutive Grands Prix he did not race, again in the latter part of the season, due to physical problems related to a crash on the track.

As for Jorge Martin, the defense of the title he won in 2024 riding the Ducati of Team Pramac has not yet begun. In fact, the Spaniard has been very little riding his new bike, the factory team’s Aprilia RS-GP 2025. It is difficult to speculate on a return date, but the chances of a rainbow encore already seem to have faded after just a month and a half of MotoGP.
