Europa League, semi-finals first leg in the sign of the English

Victories for Tottenham and Manchester United, heading for an all-English Europa League final. The London team took a big step by beating Bodo Glimt 3-1 in the semi-final first leg played in London.

Lightning lead for Tottenham, which scored on 1′ with Brennan Johnson, the doubling on 34′ with James Maddison: on 16′ of the second half Dominic Solanke on a penalty kick scored the third.

Saltnes shortened the distance at 38′ in one of the rare offensive actions of the Norwegians, who are now called to the almost impossible mission in seven days at home.
