Francesca Parlangeli, new libero for UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio

It’s time for new entries at UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio, which announces today the arrival of Francesca Parlangeli, an experienced and reliable libero, ready to wear the red and white jersey in the 2025/26 season. With the confirmation of Federica Pelloni, the team will be able to count on a pair of high-level frees, capable of ensuring balance and quality in the defensive and receiving phases.
Born in Turin on February 23, 1990, Francesca began her career in the 2008-09 season with Villar Perosa in the B2 Series, where she remained for two seasons. In 2010 she moved to Lilliput Settimo Torinese in the B1 Series, contributing to promotion to the A2 Series at the end of the 2014-15 season. She made her debut in A2 in the 2015-16 season with the same team.
In 2017, she joined Millenium Brescia in Serie A2, gaining promotion at the end of the season. She made her A1 debut in the 2018-19 season, also in Brescia, playing three years in the top series.
After the 2020-21 season, she moved to France to finish the year with RC Cannes in Ligue A. In the following season, she played with Volero Le Cannet, with whom she won both the French Cup and the French Championship in the 2021-22 season.
In 2022 she returned to Italy to play with Trentino Volley in Serie A2, contributing to promotion to Serie A1. In the 2024-25 season she played for Esperia Cremona in Serie A2., with whom she played 26 games: 631 her receptions, with a perfect percentage of 33.1%.

With Parlangeli’s arrival, UYBA will be able to count on a valuable pair of libero. Her experience and leadership will be crucial to flank and support the young and talented Federica Pelloni, creating a synergy that can raise the level of the team’s second line.
